Weekly Snaps: February 17-23

Don’t got time to check on daily? Daniel Ricciardo Daily turns Weekly for you! Week Snaps will be posted every Thursday with a resume of what happen on the last week and keeping in small news. This week:  Christian Horner’s words about 2016 and the new year 2017, a new Aston Martin, new videos, new helmet and Hamilton says no to shoey.

The week was filler with minor news, before the storm that the F1 testing week is going to mean. let’s go straight into that.

  • Lewis Hamilton said that there was no reason what so ever that would make him do a shoey, saying that, while he’s happy Daniel got his own thing, it’s “disgusting”. You can read more at Crash.net
  • Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing team principal, said Daniel was the driver of the year, for 2016 that is. He also thinks him and Max Verstappen are the best driver duo for 2017. More about Horner’s word for both RBR drivers can be found here.
  • Aston Martin just showed the world their new Vantage Red Bull Racing Edition. There are 2 versions avaiable, one with Daniel’s signature and another con Max’s. While we are sure it’s out of our budget, it’s a good thing to look at while we wait for #RB13.Read more about it HERE and HERE.
  • A new video video showing off Daniel’s road around ExxonMobil offices in Houston, Texas is out. Be warned, it’s REALLY hard to watch with the camera on the steering wheel. Watch it on YouTube here.
  • Daniel showed off his new helmet for the 2017, explaining the changes from the previous year, new sponsors including Carsales.com.au and what the little details mean. Its Daniel’s time! Full quality images should be going online in our gallery soon.
